El Puig, few kilometres from Gelida and right in the middle of the woods, is a row of houses along a single street. The houses in this particular place were once almost exactly the same but nowadays most of them are completely disfigured by a long self-building process over the years. We are asked to design a few new elements -a façade, a skylight, a mezzanine…- that will necessarily have to coexist with what is already there.
